Spirituality and Mysticism in the Artistic Literature (SMAL) is a scientific platform for the research of artistic literature and represents topics from the field of spirituality and mysticism. The platform of thought is formed by the concept of the spirituality and inner life of a man in various forms, including the transcendental one.

The platform was established in Slovakia, its home space is the Faculty of Arts of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra and its aim is to associate Slovak and foreign researchers in a transnational dialogue. The dialogue takes place not only through active participation in solving tasks in individual research teams, but also through the exchange of information about currently running scientific activities, upcoming events and published publications.
